Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready: cooki $Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready: cooking application. This supper took 7 minutes due to planning and ingredient prep. When I cook plant proteins and grains, I put 1-2 servings in the freezer and record it on the freezer inventory on my phone. At a later date, when pressed for time, I consult the inventory, pull a selection from the freezer and pair it with ingredient-prepped fresh veggies from the fridge and a corresponding sauce or dip, herbs (from my garden or windowsill), seasonings, and if the urge hits - a bit of cheese and/or bread. I challenge the limiting belief that heathy eating is expensive or time consuming. On any given night, I can have a delicious plate of goodness on the table in a fraction of the time and cost it takes to cook a standard dinner, pickup fast food or get a restaurant delivery.
