According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as of 2012, about half of US adults have one or more chronic health conditions.  That’s 117 million people living with heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes, obesity, arthritis and other chronic diseases and disorders.

Extensive research shows that modifiable lifestyle behaviors including smoking, excessive drinking, insufficient exercise and poor nutrition raise risk for these conditions.  A key word here is modifiable.

Let’s pray for change and make a change.
