I’m borderline fanatical about food and products that support health and wholeness. It feeds my passion, purpose and profession, and I spend a good bit of time exploring natural food and healthy living stores. (A lot of time.) These times, I’m happy as a sweet-toothed kid in a candy store, or a shoe loving lady in Nordstroms. I am not normal. Many people don’t have the time, (or fanatical desire), to do all the searching and exploring – but still want information and access to health-enhancing products. Bulu Box also provides health tips from experts and a supportive community of like-minded people called Bulugans. (Ok…) The sample collections are curated around two themes.
- BuluBox Original contains a well-rounded sampling of health items (sports nutrition, sleep, healthy snacks and extras like gym gift cards or DVDs).
- BuluBox Weight Loss containing samples of energy aids, fat-burners, healthy snacks and bonus items like fitness gear and kitchen tools.

A sucker for positive sayings – I like the design of motivational quotes on the box. Here’s a peek at the contents.
Inside the box were the following samples:
MovIt Energy Gummies – This is my first time seeing this brand. The ingredient list is solid; the nutrition comparison trumps the brands I’ve used in the past, and “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 is printed at the top of the back panel on the package. Luv this! I will give the gummies a try before my long run in the morning and share about it on Instagram. (Follow me @MsNettye.)
Quest Protein Powder – I am familiar with this line but have never tried the Peanut Butter flavor. Glad they included two samples.
Mediterra Nutrition Bar – I adore the nutrition and flavor of Mediterranean cuisine. Sun-dried tomato and basil are regulars on my plate, so I was thankful for the introduction to this brand and excited to try the bar. The makers of the bar call this line “a new epicurean adventure—a nutrition bar you can savor!” Yep. It is a savory bar with a combination of bright flavors that made me stop after each bite. The bar is complex and interesting, but I prefer sweet bars and ordered the Sesame Energy Bar with Pistachio & Honey from this line to try.
Earth’s Care Anit-Itch Cream. From Earth’s Care: “We believe it’s better for our bodies, and our planet to embrace the bounty of pure and natural ingredients found right here on Earth—essential and carrier oils, botanicals, beeswax, flowers and more.” I’m in total agreement with their philosophy but don’t know when I will use this sample. (I don’t think I’ve ever had the need for an anti-itch cream). I will, however, check out other products in the line that may be a good fit for me.
Yerba Prima Fiber Plus Powder – Yerba Prima has a line of dietary fiber, internal cleansing and herb products that are pure and natural. Regularity is a good thing. Thankfully in this area I’m good. The brochure included with the sample contained helpful information.
In summary, this box introduced me to four health brands of which I had no prior knowledge, and three products that fit my needs. Pretty good information and exploration (and I didn’t have to leave my home.)
