I’ve been feeling ooky, and thought the increased circulation and adrenaline from a solid workout would give me a boost.

Heading out to Pilates, (and maybe spin class), I wanted something substantial but not solid on my stomach. This #smoothie is a fine mix of carbs and protein with a punch of fiber and flavor. One of my favorites.

NJ’s Banana Nut Butter Smoothie

large frozen banana
2 dates
~1 cup ice
1/2 scoop protein powder
~1/4 cup old fashioned oats
~2 tsp cashew butter
Unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Put items in Vitamix.
Blend till smooth.
