These daily posts show everything I eat and drink (excluding all the water).  This transparency brings accountability to me as I ‘cleanse’ from refined sugar. I hope it also provides a few simple meatless meal ideas for you.

My thoughtful husband and precious children let me sleep until 10 am.
I didn’t roll out of bed until noon.
Missed my scheduled morning run and trip to the Farmer’s Market.
Glad about it.

I had rest for breakfast. (Sometimes the body needs this more than food.)  Here are my eats for the remainder of the day.

Lunch: Orzo salad, grits with kale and a nut/raisin mix. Large unsweet mango tea.



Dinner: Vegan buffalo salad on rye. Homemade garlic rosemary zucchini chips (not fried – more on this next week).

Snacks

1/2 an Everything muffin

Naan crisps

Roasted salted peanuts

Didn’t drink enough water. Will do better tomorrow.
