Real talk: you’re busy. Busy building, supporting, and achieving, and life probably feels like a perpetual series of “next steps.”

The next milestone for your family.
The next degree or certification.
The next promotion.
The next project or program.

But what about your dream – the quiet one you tucked away while showing up for everyone else?

The Whispered Dream

The loud calls of family, work, and community get answered. The whispered dream, though? It sits there, waiting. Maybe you’ve convinced yourself that it’s too late, that the moment has passed, or that the dream was never really meant for you in the first place.

That dream you’ve been bold enough to carry in your heart deserves the bravery to pursue it.

Let me remind you of this truth: if God laid something on your heart, there is purpose and provision attached to it.

That dream isn’t random. It isn’t too late. And you’re not too old.

Purpose and Provision Go Hand in Hand

Here’s what I want you to remember: when God calls you to something, He makes a way. Boldness is trusting that He’s already paved the path, even when you can’t see it yet. Bravery is taking the next step forward, even when fear or doubt tries to hold you back.

What would happen if you stopped putting off the dream God gave you?

Taking the Next Step

Here’s how to start:

  1. Write it down: What is the dream? Write it in detail – don’t hold back. Sometimes, naming it is the first step toward reclaiming it.
  2. Pray about it: God’s provision includes His timing and guidance. Ask Him for wisdom, clarity, and direction as you move forward.
  3. Move: Trust God enough to take action, no matter how small the step. Action fuels boldness, and boldness builds bravery.

You and Your Dream are Worth it!

This is your reminder that the dream God placed on your heart is worth the risk, worth the time, and worth the faith it takes to pursue it. You’re not doing this alone – God’s got you, and so do I.

If you’d like me to pray for you as you take this step, let me know. Share your dream or simply comment, “Pray for me,” and I’ll pray for God’s guidance and provision to meet you right where you are.

Your dream isn’t idle. Don’t let it stay that way. Let’s go.
