Today (6/6) is National Donut Day, and Krispy Kreme is offering a free donut. Dunkin’ Donuts is also giving away a free classic donut with a beverage purchase. {You’re welcome!}
Each year Americans consume 10 billion donuts and on average, each person eats about 31 donuts per year. Anyone find that number a bit low? I’ve torn up a Krispy Kreme or two (or a dozen) multiple times – they are like crack.
However, today I lift my current favorite sweet indulgence that I guarantee you is far better than a Krispy Kreme or any other donut.
Kevin Hart’s VitaHustle ONE Superfood Protein.
Yes – better than donuts. (I say it ten toes down with my full chest and outside voice.)
I’m a smoothie girl. So much so, I included a section and blueprint in The Veganish Cookbook.
I make smoothies frequently for convenience, nutrition, and protein. Over the years, I’ve tried dozens of protein powders and THIS is flat out the best I’ve ever had!
I first tried VitaHustle ONE in April.
Y’all – the chocolate is DECADENT. Rich, smooth, with on point sweetness and no aftertaste. Beyond the taste, the nutrient density and makeup are insane.
Two scoops provide 20g protein, 160 calories, 4g fat, 4g fiber and 11g carbohydrates.
It is made with clean ingredients, 86 superfoods, and a variety of blends supporting gut health, immunity, focus & overall wellness.
What’s in it:
- Organic wheat grass, organic barley grass
- Organic kale, organic spinach, organic broccoli, organic cauliflower
- Organic beet root, organic turmeric root, organic ginger root
- Organic pomegranate, organic açaí
- Tart cherry, elderberry, camu camu
- Organic strawberry, organic blackberry, organic cranberry, organic raspberry
- Organic banana, organic apple, organic orange
- Vegan protein blend: pea protein, quinoa and mung bean protein
- Prebiotic fiber, probiotic blend and digestive enzymes
- Energy blend and cognitive herbs: organic maca root, ginseng, grape seed extract, bamboo leaf, gingko biloba, organic matcha green tea and organic fenugreek
- Adaptogen blend: ashwagandha, organic cordyceps, bacopa
Additionally, it’s free from GMOs, soy, dairy, and gluten, and it doesn’t contain any artificial ingredients, added sugar, or fillers.
I up the protein by using pea milk, but it’s equally delicious made with water. (The taste is so good, it doesn’t need flavor or texture hookups.)
When I drink VitaHustle ONE for breakfast, I notice improvements in my satiety, energy and digestion.
I discovered this protein powder on QVC, where they occasionally offer discounts.
If you’re curious and want to learn more, Kevin Hart will be on QVC sharing VitaHustle ONE tomorrow ,6/7 during the 9 AM CST show.
