The next few weeks are jammed packed with opportunity. Opportunities for me to pour into others via my service to God, and opportunities for me to be filled through the ministry and work of others. The way God works through people to bless people is beautiful.

I am honored and humbled, excited and expectant about what is to come.

Here is a peek at upcoming events and projects on my schedule. I request your prayers, your help spreading the word, and if you are in the area, please come share with us.

It has been a long time coming, but the release our Resources for Faith and Fitness Series is near. The genesis of this series is the volume of supplemental materials created for workshops, classes and messages I’ve delivered on faith and fitness topics over the past 15 years.  Materials are updated and expanded into stand-alone, application-oriented resources that inform, inspire and support growth in mind, body, and spirit.  Series elements include will workbooks, eBooks, Bible studies, devotionals, resource guides, challenges and plans suitable for individual or group use.  Make sure you are subscribed at nettyejohnson.com for notification of new releases and special offers.
This Saturday, I look forward to powerful teaching and warm fellowship at the Greater Louisiana Baptist Convention Family Conference at Good Hope Baptist Church in Lafayette, Louisiana. The conference offers 15 class sessions including: Rekindling the Flame; God’s Design for Singles; God’s Design for Husbands; God’s Design for Wives; God’s Design for Marriage; God’s Design for Youth; How to Thrive as a Single Parent; Raising Godly Children etc. The conference is free and open to men, women and children. For more information go to www.goodhopebc.net

Sunday, I will deliver the message at St John the Baptist Church in White Castle, LA.  The occasion is Young Women’s Day, a time this body of believers dedicates to highlight and edify the next generation of women in the Church. So cool! I take the Titus 2 direction for older women to teach and nurture younger women seriously and count this call to serve a privilege.  The Holy Spirit has laid on my heart to encourage the young women to see themselves as God sees them, pursue their God-given potential and walk in their worth.

Priscilla Shirer is an anointed, expository Bible teacher.  If you have not seen her teach or are not familiar with her books or Bible studies, you may recognize her on screen as the wife Elizabeth in the movie War Room.  I am consistently helped by her studies and look forward to her teaching when The Fervent Tour comes to Baton Rouge next Wednesday, September 30th.  For more information, go to www.goingbeyond.com

Two days later, months of prayer, planning and preparation come to fruition at the Greater Louisiana Baptist Convention Annual Women’s Conference. Each year, the worship and teaching has been impactful, and we anticipate another blessed experience.  Friday, October 2nd, worship will be held at New Hope Baptist Church.  Saturday, October 3rd, classes and a culminating luncheon will be held at the Crowne Plaza.  If you are available, join us.  More information and registration at newhopebr.com.

A busy few weeks, and I’m expecting great things.
