NJ Accountability is Sweet Bannet

These daily posts show everything I eat and drink.  This transparency brings accountability to me as I ‘cleanse’ from refined sugar. I hope it also provides a few simple meatless meal and snack ideas for you.

Most of today was spent away from home, so I picked up one of my favorite hearty salad meals from Zoe’s Kitchen.

I adore their food. Zoe’s Kitchen features Mediterranean dishes with a modern spin. Mediterranean cuisine is heart-healthy and recognized by the World Health Organization for its sustainability and the Dietary Guidelines for Americans recommends this pattern of eating for improved health and the prevention of chronic disease.  Zoe’s Kitchen meals are made from fresh ingredients, always favorable, and the menu includes many vegan and vegetarian options. {Score!}

Zoe’s is one of my go to restaurants for self when I want something filling on the run, and for group catering when I host lunch and learn events.

The falafel plate entree was the anchor of today’s eating. A plate full of vegetable goodness.
